Biggest tires I can get on Ram 1500

My truck came stock with 31.2" tall tires. A 33" on my truck would clear fine even if it's a 11-12" wide. I work at autozone and a man came in and we were talking about tires and fits and he claimed he fit 35x11" on his 07 w/no lift or spacer. I'm not to sure on the metric sizes. He claimed my 09 would fit a 35" no prob and it looks like it will when I rolled one up next to my stock tires but it could be a different story once they are on there.

Add a 305/35-26 to the list; mine just barely fit without rubbing.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500
What is the biggest tire size i can fit on 20" wheels on my 2005 Ram 1500 without a lift or leveling kit?
Did you read anything at all in this thread? It literally states the sizes in the post you quoted......Also, you can go to tire shop websites (discount tire, tire rack, etc) and they will show you the biggest plus size tires you can run without modification.
