Anyone know the part number or where I can get a socket for the 2012 Ram third brake light? I've searched high an low and ultimately came up with part number 05072577AA, which is the entire harness but I'm not sure if it's for the 2012.

Any suggestions?

Did the bulb melt your socket? Have you looked into an aftermarket LED lamp assembly?

I'm not sure about the part number, but it should be the same for all 4th Gen trucks (2009 - 2014 1500s & 2010 - 2014 2500/3500s). All the 4th Gens use the same 3rd Brake Light, so you don't have to limit your search to a 2012 specifically.

I originally had an led light but went back to the stock with led bulbs. They're staying on dim and I added a plug n play resistor in line but the output socket didn't fit properly so i was trying to get another socket to solder onto the end of the resistor.
