I changed my 06 Hemi plugs at 50,000, and they looked new. I installed the unworthy double platinum Autolites that all the guys at the 3rd gen said wouldn't run well, and they have run perfectly for 65,000 miles now, so I'd say use what you want. I'm not changing plugs on these things every 30,000 miles. I believe that's just a moneymaker for Dodge since many will not change their own plugs and Dodge will be happy to, for a hefty price

When I was in for my oil change they said that the 96K maint that was due was a coolant flush and plugs. I asked them what the plug interval was according to the computer and they said 48K. I'd just changed mine this summer so I didn't need it but thought it made sense since the 2 sets I have pulled out looked pretty good and the gap was still very close to spec.

Hemis run fine on platt pulgs SRT ENGINES use them!!! ( On my 06 2500 hemi, I dropped down a heat range, ie cooler plug, running plats with no issues ) now Im off warenty, But...The last set of champion coper plugs I put in my hemi( oem plugs ) had a 2 year unlimted milage claim on the box...so hum...
Not sure if NKG or Champions are the oem plug on the 4rth gen hemi... but its a cash grab to save your warenty!!
Check plugs your self when thier do, if thier fine, leave them in!!
