I just bought a 2013 dodge ram quad. it can with a lift kit 35" tires. when should I change the break in oil? what oil should I use after the change? thanks

When you change it is personal preference. It doesn't come with 'break-in oil', so you can just go until the EVIC tells you a change is due. That will probably be before 3000 on a new truck, if I recall correctly. Subsequent changes should be around 8000 miles on a 2013. I personally change oil on a new vehicle around 1500-2000 miles.
Use whatever oil is recommended in the manual, in terms of specifications. If you have a Hemi be sure to use the correct weight because the MDS system depends on that. Don't ask about what brand or synthetic vs. non-synthetic here because you'll just get a ton of varying opinions and arguments.
