I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 SXT and i recently put a brake controller in and quite frankly i don't like have that thing near my foot. I was wondering if I can buy the one that would mount right into the dash below the headlight **** as if you were to get it built in from the dealer? Does anyone know if i can buy this from the dealer or if anyone makes them? I can seem to find them for the 2010 and up on ebay but wasn't sure if that would have the correct plugs to use ?

 

2009 2500 is a Gen 3 truck.

Can't you just move your existing controller? In my 2009 1500 I've just got it mounted in one of the cup holders.

Do some more searching in the '09 section. I installed mine under the headlight switch in the little cubby hole. I searched online and just bought a new bezel for that spot and installed the controller right where it needed to go.

Looks like Mopar started making brake controllers available for 2011 models and up. You can always call a Dodge parts department to see what other options they may have available.
