Fuel Economy
Your driving habits/style will probably make more difference than everything else you can do trying to get better economy. I've been driving Dodges and Mopar automobiles since 1974 and I only had 2 that I would use the word economy to describe, a 75 Dart with the slant six and a 3 speed manual trans with overdrive and a 2000 Neon. Dodge trucks are just that; a truck. The newer ones ride and drive nice and get better fuel mileage but still have nothing to brag about in the economy department. Would I drive anything else, heck no! Great trucks, well worth the fuel for size, comfort and capability! JMO based on my experience.
As already mentioned...DRIVING HABITS...! Not much you`ll bolt on thats going to make you any much better mpg that you already have. Trucks are not gas sippers... if you wanted a gas sipper, thats what you should have bought. (if the liberals had their way, we`d ALL be driving electric cars, or pot hole fillers as we call them around here) Pump up the tires, buy the least amount of aggressive treaded tire that you can live with, and roll with it. Synthetic engine oil does help a little. Coast as much as you can. Feather touch on the go pedal helps a lot..! Tail gate cars ahead of you, meens less wind to push, BUT be safe about it. Don`t buy gas at gas stations that don`t do a lot of business... meaning fresher gas in busy gas stations burns more efficiently. Where i live, we have the option of both ethanol blended gas, or REAL gas (NO ETHANOL). Ethanol gas is horrible... you lose up to 30% of your fuel economy with ethanol gas. I get an extra 3+ mpg burning NON-ETHANOL gas... in the long run, that adds up fast... especially when you put on 22,000 to 24,000 miles a year like i do.
Nothing..... Put really small tires on it, and don't calibrate the speedo.

Trade it for a Civic?
For real though, you are driving a fullsize pickup. There are no "magic mod" for fuel economy. If there was, not only everyone have it, but the manufacturers would install it from the get go, as they try to squeeze every advertising MPG out of their trucks now.
Just drive it for it is, and love it.
