Default Software Flash questions

Hello all -

edit: 2011 Dodge RAM 1500 5.7L

I've logged in to my Dodge RAM owner's dashboard and haven't been able to find anything. This past week when I went to the dealer to get my oil changed/rear axle recall done they told me that I had 6 software flashes that needed to be done, and of course, only 1 which was covered by my powertrain warranty. And another "of course", these all popped up after my bumper to bumper warranty ran out.

The flashes listed are:
Flash DMFL
Flash DMFR
Flash DTCM
Flash ITBM
Flash TIPMCGW

Does anyone have any literature on these flashes? Have been doing google searches on them with nothing. Also, can these be done by me? They are $40 each if done by the dealer :/

Thanks!

These can only be done by the dealer with the Chrysler WiTech system.
Unless you have any actual issues with any of the below, I would't even worry about having them done personally.

1. DTCM = Flash: Service 4WD Light Illuminated With C1078 stored
2. TIPM = Flash: Vehicle Theft Alarm Intermittently Sounds, No Start
3. DMFL & DMFR = Flash: Exterior Mirror Courtesy Lamps Stay On Longer Than The Customer Desires
4. ITBM = Integrated Trailer Brake Module, ITBM, Trailer Brake Sensitivity issue

So basically, only need the flash if I am having that issue.. thanks for answering! Saved me from worrying whether I should spend the $200 or not!

No problem! And yes I would only have the flash done if a the issue arose.
