Default Arm rest, center console 2010 ram

I have a 2010 ram 1500 with the center console. The latch broke and I can not find just the latch. There are two latches on the center console, one for the top arm rest and a second that opens up to the lower cavity. The broken latch is for the lower.

This latch assembly is removed by three torx screws. Dodge only sells the whole lid for $360 bucks and that is stupid.

Does anyone have a latch they want to part with or know where I can just get the latch?

Thanks in advance.
Adam

The part number for the lid is 1NN17BD3AB just for reference.

I have a whole lid assembly that came off my 2010 1500 that was replaced under warranty. I work at a dodge dealership and was able to keep the old one. There is nothing wrong with the latch.

Do you want to sell me just the latch? Like I said, there are just 3 torx screws and the whole thing just slips out.

There are two lids. The first latch lifts up to access the top compartment that one is fine. The second latch opens up to the big compartment. That one is broke. I have the shifter in the center if that helps. I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how.

Crap, mine won't work then because I have the column shifter. The center console is different than mine

I'm in the same boat. Lower latch had something break and locked up. I gave it a good squeeze and snapped the damn thing off. Was going to see if I could get it done under warranty as I haven't had either of the recalls looked at yet either.

I would think that would be under your bumper to bumper.

ElevenDesign did you ever locate a replacement latch?
Mine is broken on my 2010 as well, my dealer said $650 for the replacement upper console and that the latch is not available seperately, I think that's stupid.
I also called around a couple wreckers they said they don't have one, but if they did they wouldn't sell it separate either that I would have to buy the entire console.
Anyone have any ideas on where to locate a lower console latch??
Thanks
