they mean a 2010 is prewired for a factory intergrated brake controller, they are all prewired for aftermarket controllers.

in 2009 there was no towing package, just an option for a hitch, otherwise all of the towing features like 4 and 7 pin connectors were standard equipment. i have pulled that and much more with my 5.7l with 3.55 without any issue. if i ordered it again i might get 3.92 but nothing has ever stopped the 3.55 from moving along well.

Without going into details here AND starting another useless octane war, just stay with mid grade gasoline. It IS whats "recommended" by your operators manual. If you have the option to buy NON ethanol gas, do so. Ethanol blended gasoline causes up to 30% less mpg.

I always use 89 octane. I have a bully dog and it works great for towing in the middle setting with mid grade fuel. Along with the rear airbags, it's a great setup for pulling my travel trailer. Pulled it 3000 miles this year so far.
