The tpms in the dash will blink a few times, then stay lit.
I change out my tires and wheels for winter (which dont have sensors)
I put a piece of electrical tape over the tpms warning light to cover the annoying light.
Also, the EVIC will display a tpms problem, just re-set it... good to go.

Not everybody has or wants a programmer just to eliminate the TPMS warning light in the dash. Sometimes, less is more, $350 vs a piece of electrical tape works for me...lol. Come spring time, my 20`s are back on the truck and the TPMS light is back to working normal.

Greg,

I believe the 2012 Rams will go into winter mode if all 4 of the TPM's are removed from the vehicle. When the vehicle is in winter mode no sensors or warning messages will appear on the dash.

Yep. I bought a set of rims off Craigs and the guy said it had monitors on the rims. When I got there...No TPMS sensors. I bought the rims anyway as they were brand new take offs and slapped a set of Silent Armours on them. When I put them on the truck I also added a very technologically advanced TPMS warning light obstruction device to my dash. Worked fine all winter. I always look at my tires before I drive my truck anyway...Remember the days before sensors? For anything?
