Ready lift level kit plus timbren stops in the rear- will this work?
Hello all,
I have a 2013 1500 Big Horn with 3:92 gears. I tow a 6500lb travel trailer with good w/d. When hooked up it sits fairly level. I prefer my trucks to sit level but am not willing to sacrifice safety. I am looking at leveling the front but don't want to be high in the sky when hooked up. Any ideas if adding a set of Timbren stops in the rear will help keep the truck sitting level when hooked up? Thanks for any comments.

I went with air bags in the rear instead of the timberns because they're adjustable. When I hook onto my 7500# trailer the air bags and equalizer hitch still keep it level and ive got the rancho leveling kit upfront.
It doesn't really matter how much you're towing but the amount of weight that is on the tongue. I have the timbrens without a front leveling kit and it levels out with near 1000 lbs or so of weight in the bed, off hand estimate I would say. I could only imagine that if your front was raised another inch or two that it would be a high front, but even then, I still wouldn't consider airbags over my timbrens. Maintenance free without a chance of something going wrong.
