4.7 to a 5.7 hemi

Default 4.7 to a 5.7 hemi

My 4.7 went in my 09 just wondering if a 5.7hemi will fit in??

Step 1 - sell 4.7 truck, or put new/used 4.7 in
step 2 - buy 5.7 truck

Yes, it'll fit - but you need to change way too much stuff to be practical or cost effective

I was gunna do the same engine but since this 4.7 just up and broke down on me I was thinking the 5.7 would be better I think it over heated or something

The hemi needs the 545RFE transmission. Did your 4.7 come with it?

THe dodge 4.7 has always had an overheating problem.
