Truck reprogrammed itself?
So I had the truck set up so that the horn would not beep (One ping only.) when locking the doors or using the remote start (Two Pings). I also had it set to unlock all 4 doors at the same time with the first push of the unlock button on the remote. Went to lock the truck last night and it chirped. Went to unlock and had to hit the remote three times to get the rear doors to unlock. So why would it simply reprogram itself? Is it becoming self aware? Damned Cyberdyne.....
Our high today and yesterday and the day before and the day before did not get above -10F
But I think the battery in your fob may be dying. Although I can't really say. My truck sometimes won't unlock no matter how many times I press the button… then I have to use the key, set off the alarm, make noise and crap. But then I use the fob to start and it is fine afterwards… Seems to happen once every 4-8 months.

Do you have aftermarket remote start? This would mean 2 different modules to program after a dead battery. That is IF you have an aftermarket starter AND assuming it lost its function as well.
The fob does not hold the programming for what OP is talking about, therefore, a bad battery would make no difference. When your fob battery dies, the fob does not require any programming either. This is because it will emit the same RF signal since it's the only signal it can produce. it does in pulses(lock/unlock/panic..etc)

Did any of the settings change on the EVIC? Isn't there a check box for the door unlocking sequence?

Yes the entire EVIC went back to default. I had check and uncheck everything I changed all over again. It has been holding. -15 this morning and everything was still set when I started the truck....Odd.

I think that was the high this week here
