Wanting to know the story behind how he went from "my truck is fixed" to "i don't have the truck anymore and i had to use the lemon law to fix it" makes me sound like a fanboy? How so? I am not in any way defending Dodge. Far from it. After i had to get rid of my 06' because it was literally rotting away i had no intentions of buying another Dodge. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and a lot of their systems are poorly engineered. Had Toyota given me a good price i would be driving a Tundra and not even on this forum. So no, i am not a fanboy. I am however someone who tries to actually share and learn information about these trucks and to do that you need to provide detailed information. Call me crazy but when one of these trucks has an issue severe enough to use the lemon law any information would be great for the purpose of helping others who may end up in a similar situation.

Actually your wrong. We don't know what problem occurred after he said "my truck is fixed". Was it the same problem or a new one? How many times did they try and fix it. Did they replace any parts? If so, what parts? Did they trace to a general system? (TIPM, the computer, alternator, etc). Did the issues spread to other components? Did the problem ever go away but came back? or was the problem their the whole time? How long was the truck in the shop? did they provide rental cars? How did it escalate from "it's fixed!" to where you are now?

If none of that is any interest they why are you even here? You have made two posts on this forum and not a single one is to share any information or ask any questions. Instead it's to defend someone who has not posted here in almost a year. What is your agenda? Clearly it's not to learn anything based on your comments so far.

Are you his spokesperson now? Your making a complete assumption. We don't know what the issue was. Again, see the questions that would be helpful to this thread instead of being a "fanboy" for a member who can't be bothered to fill us in.

U mad bro?....take a breath. lol I thought you were coming off like don't take smack about Dodge but if not that's cool.
I only have 3 posts, including this one, on this forum but this is not my first rodeo over the years.
But to touch on your sensitivity regarding what content people are posting, sometimes we don't get the answers. You could have asked the guy to elborate to enlighten everyone, if he was still around, but you responded like this like it's personal.

Not all posts are informative or have to be. They are mostly opinion such as yours of the OPs shortcomings as a forum contributor. You sounded mad and still do for some reason.

I'm not mad at all. It's the internet after all. You can't see emotions online (and i'm not into using all sorts of smiley faces to do it). You are absolutely correct, not all posts are informative which is frustrating to say the least. My personal opinion on discussion forums is if you don't want to "discuss" things don't waste peoples time. Like asking peoples opinion on a product and getting a response like "I hate it" with no explanation as to why This thread is the same way (to me).

"My truck is broken, it needs ______"
"My truck is fixed"
"I returned my truck due to a major failure but i can't be bothered to tell anybody any details".

If you're not going to bother to tell anybody any details why bother saying anything?

Again, my 2c. I guess i have a higher standard for being helpful to others and learning new things.

Having the same issue on my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Limited. I have the Air Suspension as well. I pretty much have all the features the truck can have, to save time.

Since I purchased the truck Last November the battery has gone dead 3 times. And I have had over a dozen low amp starts. I knew taking it to the shop would be a hassle and good golly was I right.

The dealership has had my truck for a week. They say "we have been able to start it daily, not sure what the problem is..." It's like these guys are morons. I told them it takes 3-4 days of not driving it before it has a shaky start or the battery is dead. You spend 50k on a truck and buy the platinum warranty, you expect better service.

On another forum I've read about 3 possible causes

1. Air conditioner compressor clutch signal stays on, I can't recall if it was the PCM or a relay

2. Air suspension system compressor keeps trying to adjust the pressure after the truck is off

3. Radio has some issues and somehow creates a current drain. I don't recall the specifics

My 2014 LONGHORN drained the battery within 36 hrs If I lowered the truck with the remote after getting out of it. The computer is expecting someone to get in and has all the modules active which is what drains the battery. There is a RAM dealer fix for the problem which disables the "LOWER" button on the remote. My dealer installed the fix and I have not had any more problems!

Thanks for posting your resolution, mushroomman! Hopefully it can help someone else out should they deal with a similar concern.
