Default crew/quad cab questions

I have an 08 standard cab Ram and I'm looking into getting a 4dr Nissan Frontier cause I've had better customer service in my area allowing me to put a car seat in and play around with the seating to see how it fits. I'd rather stick with Ram so can somebody hook me up with a picture or let me know how an infant car seat or any other child seats fit.

Much appreciated

My brother-in-law has two child seats anchored to the rear seat of his '10 Ram Laramie Crew-cab, sorry no pics, but there is plenty of room.

A friend of mine has a '12 Quad-cab Ram Laramie which he uses the rear seat for his child seat as well. Little tighter for obvious reasons, but still works just fine.

I have a 09 cc .my grandson car seat is easy to install . His sets in the middle . There is a tether strap at back window
There are rectangle bars in the seat on both sides of the car seat . Our have 2 straps on each side that these hook up to rectangle bars
THEN YOU TAKE THE SEAT BELT GO THROUGH THE CHILD SEAT AND LATCH ON THE TRUCKS SEAT LATCH

Pete - I have a 2013 ram crew with a toddler front facing seat with plenty of room. Also have a larger front facing toddler seat that fits great. I've also had a rear facing infant carrier (chicco brand) which fits fine in any position (behind driver, middle, or passenger). Also plenty of width for 3 seats if u needed.

I can't speak to the newer rams, but my cousin couldn't fit his rear facing infant carrier anywhere but the middle.

compared to a 2006 Dakota (my previous truck) its night and day on space. Go for the full size crew especially if u have 2 kids.

Reg my cousin...his was a 2008 QUAD cab ram. Which is why there's less room than the crew. If its just a front facing...im sure any truck would b fine

Well, I had 3 full sized car seats in the back seat of my Crew Cab one day. Not sure I would want to try that in a Quad unless the driver was fairly short.

I have a 2008 QuadCab and there's more room back there than in my 2003 Buick LeSabre when I put my sons car seat back there. I can have the seat alll the way back and he dopesn't touch. I have to have my Buick seat all the way forward for him not to hit.
I'd have a hard time believing a Nissan has more room than the Ram.

I have a 2011 quad cab, we had to put our Graco Snugride 30 in the middle seat. There wasn't enough room for a passenger in the front seat if the car seat was directly behind the seats. My brother in law borrowed my truck, his Chicco car seat fit behind a front seat with enough room for a passenger to sit in the front. Both of these were rear facing car seats, both were different in size. I guess it depends on which car seat you have.

Thanks for the tips everyone. My wife is kinda nutty with wanting to get pregnant and get the proper vehicle and all that jazz because I just recently beat cancer. But she finally calmed down and when we do have a child for a while we are going to use just her car when we need to which is 2011 Outlander sport. Tiny suv but my nephews infant car seat sits fine behind me in passenger seat and i'm 5'11' 287 i'm no small dude. But when the time comes and do decide to get rid of my 08 standard cab i'll take your advice. Thanks everyone
