I literally just got back from the shop (i borrowed a buddies lift) and i installed the Air Lift air bag kit for this truck. Install was very simple and required to tools whatsoever minus a pair of scissors to cut the air line. Just shove the bags inside the springs and route the airlines to the rear bumper. Due to being rushed and crap weather ill wait till spring to drill the bumper and mount the air fitting. For now it's zip-tied under the bumper.

Every other month i haul about 1,200 lbs of equipment for my training company. These air bags will be used to give some extra support. The kit cost $80.70 including shipping from Jegs on Ebay. Ordered it Monday it arrived yesterday, installed today. The truck is currently empty but ill report back once i haul a load next.

On my 06' 1500 which i traded in earlier this week i had the Helwig air bags which were much more of an involved install but that truck had leaf springs. I hauled 1,500lbs in that truck with the air bags and you could not even tell i had that kind of load in it.

I don't have any pictures , but in the spring a friend dredged his lake .. He had a row of dirt very long .
My wife and I filled the Rambox up to the sides to top tail gate and more in the middle . I have the T 1000 air bags that go in the coils
don't know the weight but I was heavy . Hell when me and my son set on the tailgate that is around 580 to 600 lbs

Thanks for the info on the air bags in the springs... Did not know there was such a thing. My last truck was a 99' Ram 2500 with a tow package, that truck could haul anything and drive better with the load then empty. Gonna miss that...
Will be looking into air bags after I toss in a load of firewood and see how she does.

Thanks.. Put a load of dry wood in the other day and it did not sag at all that I could tell.. I did get the airlift bags for the springs to install. When I'm cutting wood I would worry of a load of wet logs in there.
Thanks all... Bob

Stock based off my quartermile times (didn't have the tuner at the time to check) I'm estimating around a 7.1 second 0-60
After Torque Converter got it down to around 6.3-6.4 Seconds
Tune best run yet 5.76 Seconds
With 3.55 Gears !
