Default Cold engine lifter noise

I was just wondering how many people are experiencing cold engine lifter noise/tick in new trucks?
I had my lifters changed in my 06 because they were gummed up. When they were replaced they were replaced with the newest part number for MDS lifters, I am assuming the same ones that are in the new Rams. Anyway, after I did my first oil change the lifters started making noise after the truck sat for a bit and was cold. After start up if you wait 5-10 seconds for the RPMS to come down you hear it, if you put it in gear(dropping the RPMs more) you hear it more. If you rev the engine up to about 2000RPM the noise quiets and goes away. After driving a few hundered yards the noise goes away, until you sit at idle for awhile. After the truck is partially warmed the noise is gone, no matter how long you idle. It hasent gotten any worse in the last 14,000 miles for me.

Anyway, my buddy just got a 13.5 Ram(crew with the long bed), and I noticed that when he showed it to me, on cold start it had the same lifter tick.

Also, FWIW, when people are confused between a manifold exhaust leak and a lifter tick. If it is a lazy lifter 99% of the time it will get quieter or go away if you rev up the engine a bit. If it is an exhaust leak, it will get louder as you rev the engine.

So anyone experiencing this? Also for people that get in there trucks and just drive you might not ever hear it. Mine goes away anytime the truck is above 1500RPMs and no way you would hear it over the radio. I would be interested if any of you guys with the 2011, 12, 13 hemi trucks, if you start it when the motor is dead cold, put it in reverse/drive(lowers the idle) with the window down and wait 10-15 seconds, to see if you guys are having it too.

My 2013 sport does it too, it has 8000 Kms and I just did the first oil change last week. I put Mobil 1 synthetic in it with factory filter and it does seem quieter. Time will tell!!

I have the same noise. BUT.... It's barely there at cold and really there when at full temp. Goes away when rpms are at 1k for a few seconds. Very, very apparent at 650rpm idle.
Here's my walk around video

Does your do it when at full temp and idle?

I always assumed I have the Hemi tick or shall I say knock cuz its loud. I never thought it to be the lifters gumming up because it started doing it at 500miles. My truck does sit alot but I have done 6 oil changes in its 15kmi life.
Mobil1 Synthetic makes it louder for me. I experimented with conventional and noise was a bit quieter.
So, we may have two completely different problems. I'm going to pour a whole quart of Marvel mystery oil in about 100miles prior to my next oil change. We'll see if that makes any difference by cleaning up any gumming deposits or if it is the notorious valved hemi tick as I suspect.
I know there was one member who had his heads changed and the noise didnt go away. I dont recall what his issue is/was??

Nope, only when cold at idle.

Mine sounds just like yours when my idle is down below 800RPM and the motor is cold. Only difference is my ticking is slower, so maybe its one lifter where yours maybe 2 or 3.

you guys worry about the little things, jeez.
I would almost bet every single Hemi has this tick to some extent.
