Default Carpet removal on driver side

Hi:

I would like to remove the carpet in the drivers "compartment" to clean out some encrusted salt. Is that possible or do I have to rip out the entire interior to get out the carpet?

TIA for you advice.

I would just wash it with lots of water and shop vac it out. Let it dry for a couple of days and you should be good.

I would suggest to remove the entire interior to clean right but if I remember correctly, you will have to have the computer reflashed once you remove and reinstall the front seats. If you are able to peel back the carpet and clean that would be the best bet. Good luck

I washed it yesterday and have left it to dry.. Gonna be a slow process as it froze last night. I'll keep trying with the wash up/ suck up with the Shop Vac routine. and we'll see what happens. Weather Tech floor pans before the next winter.
