First you say you do not recommend doing 140, they you say you have done 140 on a truck that has tires rated for 105 MPH. I don't believe you did 140 and if you did you are risking your life as well as that of others and does not show good judgement. Also you being at Barksdale AFB, you have to be on good behavior. One citation for doing what you claim you did or do and you will loose your security access and clearance and the base commander will have your tail.

it's one thing to go fast in an MB on the autobahn with a car that is designed to handle it with the proper tires and another to go 140 on a 5500 lbs truck with the wrong tires in Luisiana. I remember being your age and I also loved speed, I've flown airplanes, jumped from airplanes, raced Baja in the open class motorcycles (over 100mph in the dirt), fast boats, even fast go-carts. At this point in my life, I'm not easily impressed. I could do 170 in my vette but I won't do it in the street, I don't even need a tuner for that.

Okay okay, enough about me, as flattering as it is. Let us get back on topic.

I have a flowmaster super 44 on mine, no drone. You need to move your muffler back as far as possible.

Default Aero Turbine

when my muffler lets go and I hope soon, I think I'll get the Aero Turbine muffler.

My inquiry:Comment:
What muffler would you recommend for my 2012 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman 5.7 - single exhaust. I tow a 27foot 5th wheel approx 7700lbs. Not looking for loud, and not wanting to loose torque while towing. Can you help me.

their reply:
We recommend our AT3030XL and leave the factory resonators on. This will be louder but not crazy loud. It is about 7-9 decibels louder then stock.
on the 5.7 we see a gain of 9-12 hp and 8-10 tq just by replacing the factory muffler.

this video would be without resonators But contact Aero turbine http://www.aeroexhaust.com/ they will respond within a day or so, tell them what you have and what type of sound you want.

half way thru this video they go into with/without resonators and they have their own resonators and tips.
