Default Squeaky doors!

I have a 2014 1500, and I just noticed it today, but all four doors are producing a terrible squeak when I open or close them. Boy is it awful. I can get some grease pretty easily, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and what have they found to be the best remedy?

Yep. Squeeky. Another awesome design.....Best you can do is squirt some white grease on em. Works for a few months depending on rain and washing.

Their is already at least another thread on this very topic. It's completely ridiculous how bad the squeak is and haw fast it comes back after greasing. I have had my 11' for about 6 months and i have cleaned and re-greased the hinge and rollers 3 times already with white lithium grease. The drivers door is presently squeaking like crazy.

I think i greased my 06' Ram Hinges once in 6 years. They never made a sound. My friend who also bought at an 06' the same day i did and still has his has also confirmed that he has never heard a squeak ever. What the hell did the Engineers do the 4th Gen's that created this problem?

I used a drop of oil from the dipstick to lube the pins of the rollers on the door and the noise went away. The problem with grease is that it doesn't wick down into the pivots. Some thick oil dissolved in something would be good such as chain lube for motorcycles. It will penetrate into pivoting assemblies.

Maybe so, but that doesn't change the fact that I never had to grease the doors on my 2001 Durango. Obviously they fked something up.

My 2010 used to squeak on all the doors. I used a teflon spray lube in it a few times but haven't had to use it for a long time. It seems to have worked itself out. I haven't had to spray it for at least 2 years and there was a time where I had to spray it every couple months.

I agree with your solution. The drivers door started to squeak on my 2010 in the last year I had it. I put some white lithium grease on the rollers, but it wasn't until I lubed the pins did the squeak completely go away.

Yesterday I used some 30 weight machine oil and dripped it down into the spindle of the main roller. Then i opened and closed the door about 10 times and the squeak vanished. So this seems to have worked much better then the lithium grease fix which only worked for me for a few weeks.
