only on the weekend the rest of the week is a 50 km drive to work and 50 km home

Any drivability issues? Check engine light? Sudden decrease in mileage? Sputtering? Idle issues? How many miles on the truck? Properly maintained? Did this just start? Additional info like this is beneficial to anyone assisting you.

no check engine
no sputtering
milage down but cold winter here in Ontario
properly maintained
46,000 km

Carbon build up in the engine. Could try sea foaming it. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

You shouldn't be seeing soot on the bumper, sometimes you may see a little from the exhaust hut not much. Warranty should still cover the truck unless it was purchased early in 2012/late 2011, as it is 3 years/60k. Call the dealer and see if you still have coverage, if you do take it in and see what they say.
