If they are telling you to wait for it to seat all the way after it's installed they are misleading you. That spacer needs to be seated BEFORE you re-install the assembly back on your truck. Otherwise, as it "seats" the 3 bolts on top will not be tight anymore and will cause even more issues. Take it out, seat that spacer all the way, tighten the bolts, then re-install it. If the issue continues, either go to a different brand of spacer or go back to stock, it's not worth the headache.

Is the Daystar kit a poly spacer or a metal spacer? I have never had any issues at all with a metal spacer.

Okay I'm afraid now. No offence but if you're a mechanic, why am I able to diagnose your problems from behind a screen? I think maybe it's time to pay someone to fix this truck.

What 3 bolts are you talking about - he has a 2wd truck. No struts, just a conventional spring and a conventional shock.

OK, then disregard that statement...forgot it was a 2wd, my bad. So how does a spacer attach to the mount on a 2wd?

Pretty sure that they just get jammed onto the upper coil bucket like they do on a jeep. Typically you remove the stock rubber and then lube up the spacer with a little soap and then beat the crap out of them with a rubber mallet. Then you put the stock rubber back between the spacer and coil.







This vid they just slid it on - never actually seen one go that easy.

Maybe some of that upper coil bucket needs to be trimmed away for the spacer to seat correctly?

I wonder if it's possible the spring was re-installed upside down...that could cause it to bounce or be out of balance.

Thanks for all the help guys but today I tore it all down and loosen the shocks and they both exploded in two pieces from being over extended. So I just took the spacers out. They are to much head ace and make the truck ride like crap. I'm looking for maybe some 3 inch spindles if they make any for my truck. All I'm finding is 4 or 4.5 so I'll keep looking
