Addco Sway Bar Install
The sad reality is this is what our world is coming to. More and more companies "customer service" is falling in the toilet due to the convenience of e-mail and social media.
Actually, I think this is an instance of the opposite. I work all day during their normal business hours. Then I get home and jump into being a father and a husband.
Email and social media are very convenient for me and not just them. They did also call. Not just message me.

Well. After hounding them to get a shipping label to me. Hounding them to see if they received it. Hounding them to give them the info to ship a new one. Hounding them to find out if they were shipping the new one. I finally got an answer of "They are out of stock. Manufacturing in 3 weeks." I cancelled the order and got a refund. Not that the dealer was very helpful, but the problem when I ordered the rear addco bar was that they were out of stock, had to make them, made them and they failed quality control, had to make more, etc. I finally cancelled that one and got the Hellwig rear bar. I can't see a way that I will ever want to deal with Addco again. Or SDTruckSprings. I'm just glad that a transaction that started Oct/Nov last year is finally done.
Geez man, that's awful...glad to hear you've finally gotten it resolved though. Thank god for forums like this, it's definitely worthwhile to hear reviews like this to make others aware of what you went through...**** poor customer service like that is inexcusable.
Which Hellwig bar did you get, and where did you get it from? With the spacers I put in, I feel like I need something like that for my truck.

7709 was the part number. They actually don't make a front bar for the 4wd trucks. The guy I talked to said that the front bars on the 4wd trucks are much larger than the 2wd trucks. Any larger on the front of a 4wd would hurt ride quality more than help handling. I can tell you first hand that the rear set on the stiffest setting is quite nice for my driving style and towing needs.
Once a companies screw ups are made public for the world to see, its interesting how fast they are willing to help. Sad that they wait till that happens before taking the appropriate steps to resolve an issue.
