Default Addco Sway Bar Install

Hey guys,
I'm looking for pictures of installed front Addco sway bars. 2208 part number specifically for the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Crew Cab 4x4 5.7L.
I'm trying to determine if the sway bar that I have is the wrong one. I don't really see another option. I swapped in a Hellwig in the rear and I pulled the front bar. The one that I bought has no way to fit in. I flipped it etc. Finally I put the stock bar back in for now.
The arms are just way too long. They are hitting the struts long before the holes are level enough to get the links in.
A measurement of the arm length would help.

The packaging left something to be desired. There were no instructions or illustrations. The hardware was in a plastic bag taped to the bubble wrap over the sway bar with 2208 handwritten on it. Half the black paint or coating came off with the bar. I have to say, I'm less than impressed.

Any info would help.

Until then, have you called the company to verify they shipped the correct part#?

can't you line up the OEM with the addco and see if the holes line up? I've used their products before and it seems they just mass manufacture "universal" bars. I've never really had a problem with them either.

I called the distributor. They said it shipped from the factory and I should call them. I just haven't had time at work yet to do this.

It did not line up with the factory one at all.

Addco got back to me today and left a message. It is the wrong bar. The correct part number is 2232.
They do in fact have the wrong part number listed on their webpage, which I assume the distributors are using to add items to their pages. Or some kind of list that matches the wrong info.
Anyway, I was a little annoyed that the mistake appears to be on their end and they are telling me to return it to the company I bought it from when it shipped directly from Addco.

I'm not going to say it's totally their responsibility. But it would have been easy to step up and fix the issue since you have it listed wrong on your webpage.

Wow. What kind of company resorts to communicating with their customers through Facebook?

I had left them a facebook message as well as the phone call.

So, they were getting back to me. And they called me as well.
