13 Ram 4.7L Fuel Problem
My 2013 Ram 1500 SLT, 4.7l is having a problem at startup.
Backstory: Drove to work one night, left truck sitting for 12hrs, started normally when I got off shift. About 1.75 Miles toward home, the engine struggled to maintain RPM's, I kept my foot in the throttle all the way home, bunny stopped to keep it running. Ended up having to stop at a 4 way stop and the truck died before I could get to Neutral to rev it up. Luckily my driveway was right there, it restarted (rough, with pedal pumping).
Now, when I let it sit for more than 6-7hrs it will crank, start and high idle for about 30 seconds before choking out. I can keep my foot on the throttle and keep it from dying, but if I take my foot off the throttle it slowly chugs out. I took it to a place to get fixed and they are telling me the diagnostic says fuel pressure is "good" which I still haven't gotten an exact pressure from them. They said it is saying the 5th cylinder is the problem. Do any of yall have any experience with this? I haven't let them do any work yet, and don't intend to, until I have time to do some research.
Thanks in advance for any help.
