Default Noise when backing up.

I have a 2009 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 Hemi that has developed an intermittent issue. The vehicle has 51,000 miles. It has had the pinyon nut recall and the rear end rebuilt at 32,000.

Sometimes when going in reverse I can feel and hear a noise from the back of the truck. It feels like the brakes a grabbing or binding. It could be the driveline. I am not sure. The noise is cyclic in that I can hear a thump, then nothing then another thump. When it does happen it clears up once driving forward. It generally does not happen then for a couple of weeks. I live in AZ so its not moisture or snow related.

Any ideas of what it could be. I hate to go to a mechanic if they cannot replicate the issue.

At first I thought it was the parking brake hanging up. I have not been setting the parking break and still get the intermittent noise/vibration.
