Default 4wd shifting question

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 express and the gal at the car wash shifted it into 4wd low while detailing the truck and when I pulled out onto the street into traffic I knew something was wrong and drove about 1 block and slowed down to a crawl and put it back to 2 Wheel drive and not thinking clearly shifted while in Drive. Seems to be ok.

Yes. Should be OK. You would have heard a big bang if something were to have gone wrong.

Thanks for the reply, I tried to look up exactly how these engage into 4 wheel low so I could get an idea how it works and all but couldn't find anything. I gues it is gears moving if it's not in neutral? It seems fine, live and learn but I did call the car wash and told them to be aware of these, my old Dakota had the shifter and you couldn't accidentally put it in 4x4.
