braking rpms

Default braking rpms

2012 Ram ST 1500 4dr 5.7 hemi
while breaking as I pass 1000 rpms to 800 rpms (breaking pressure not changed) rpms bounce up to 1100/1200 rpms them decline like nothing happened
no check engine light
recently replaced tranny solenoid

It depends on what speed you're moving. If this is happening at almost a complete stop then you may have something going on in the transmission. What do you mean by "replaced tranny solenoid" You mean the valve body?

the part is called a solenoid
but some sites call it a valve body
the symptoms were stuck in fourth and the codes confirmed the problem.
since replacement all codes cleared.
shifting is not an issue now.
just the rpm bump while steadily applying the breaks.
it doesn't happen any other time.

while at work telling a co-worker about this, they suggested it may be caused by a vacuum leak by the break booster. Did anyone experience this? any thoughts?
