Lumbar Support Problem - 2016 Ram 1500
Hi All
I recently purchased a 2016 1500 Big Horn about a month ago. For the most part I love the truck. However, there is definitely something wrong with the lumbar support on the drivers seat. When I sit in the truck in the morning, anytime i shift my weight, the bag inside the seat makes crackling sounds almost like crushing a piece of cheap plastic. This happens anytime i shift my weight in the seat. I am sure that you can imagine how annoying it is during my 40 minute commute.
It could be because it is colder in the morning and that the plastic hardens with colder weather. As of yesterday afternoon, after the truck heated up in the parking lot, I did not notice the same problem. That being said, I can't believe that this is 'as designed'.
Note: The lumbar support still inflates and deflates without issue. I also have cloth seats.
Is this normal?
