Default Performance issue or not ?

2014 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi, Regular cab with short bed. She won't spin the tires. I tied with traction control off and it only chirps the tires on takeoff. It will spin them around a corner but I feel it should do it going straight. Is this normal ?

Edit:
Forgot to mention that it is a 4x4.

Build sheet says 3.55 with 6 speed auto. It has get up and go but doesn't spin the tires.

with a rcsb and 3.55 I would think it would spin them. My 09 cc with the 3.21 will on occasion spin them.

try not slamming the pedal to the floor, this throws the truck into some algorithm trying to get all it's ducks in a row before getting going. Go about 3/4 and if the tires get loose floor it

My son has a 2007 Quad cab 5.7 and it will roast the tires. I'll see what it can do next time I go out. Sure love the power compared to my old 90 Dakota.

After further searching, I found that I would need a tuner to limit torque management. I am an old fart and my tires last far longer than the ones on my sons' truck. His 07 has 3.92 gears.
