Default oil filter P/N for 2017 ram hemi 4x4

So I sold my 2009 Ram CCSB 4x2 with a 5.7 hemi and bought a 2017 CCSB Big Horn 4x4 with the 5.7 hemi.

Trying to locate the oil filter but having trouble getting the right part number. I crawled under the truck and from what I see, it's AA / 50048919. Trouble is that when I google it, nothing comes up.

The new filter looks a lot smaller than the one on my 09 probably because it's a 4x4. Any one out there know the oem filter P/N?

Parts store should be able to identify it.

thanks, the parts stores want to sell you the off brands not oem. If push comes to shove I will use non oem but I just like using the oem filters. The oem p/n that keeps coming up is the MO-339 (4892339AA). I just figured it must be the same as a 2015-2016 and was wondering what folks are using.

Is it due for an oil change already? At any rate, if you insist on using OEM, stop by the dealership and let them sell you one at 3x the cost...lol

not due yet, I've only got just over 1000 miles on it. I used to get the Mopar filter for my 09 from Walmart for about 8 bucks. I was in the store a couple of days ago and was looking to see if the carry the one for the 2017. They have a few in there that may be the right one but I couldn't find the right P/N. I'll go back later and see if they carry the MO-339.

Is this the part you're looking for? https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/part...4892339aa.html You might want to check out that site to see if you can identify it. I know Mopar tends to supersede part numbers quite often. So what ever part number you pull off your truck may not be the most up to date.

Thanks, I called the dealer and that is the p/n for the correct filter. Funny that the website says it doesn't fit the 2017 ram hemi. Dealer wants about $12 for it and walmart in my area does not carry it. I'll probably just buy another brand when the time comes. Walmart has a mobil 1 M1-113 for about $10, I'll go with it since I usually run mobil1 synthetic anyway.

I found the same issue with the part number as you did. Most websites don't update as often as they should. I ordered 2 Mopar oil filters for my new 2017 Hemi Sport from Amazon for about $8.50 each and they were here in 2 days.

Part # 04892339AA is the correct #, it hasn't superseded as of yet in our date base and it does go for about $9.95, at least that what I retail it for at my store.
