Default Is it a hemi if its not badged on fender?

I am looking at joining the dodge ram club. I have found a 2010 beautiful ram in Georgia that i am currently going to buy. My concern is the black cover on the engine shows 5.7 hemi BUT there is no hemi badge on the fender nor does it have dual exhaust out the back although it has the bumper in place with the cutouts for duals. Also when i scan the vin it list 5.7 but when looking at details under mechanical is 4.7. I don't want to get snowed over so im reaching out to those who willl be truthful. Here is the vin 1D7RB1CT3AS195410 thats listed
for sale in lilburn ga. Any insight appreciated

The VIN is FOR a Hemi equipped truck, but unless they display a picture of that VIN actually ON the truck, I would walk away.

To my knowledge all 5.7 HEMI vehicles (I have 3 different ones) ALL have dual exhaust. Anyone can lay a 5.7 cover over the engine to take a picture.

I don't think the 5.7 cover would fit on a 4.7. My 09 SLT had a single exhaust out the passengers side. Someone probably de-badged the truck.

Just to throw a monkey wrench in the mix. I have a 2011 RAM 1500 SLT with the 5.7 Hemi with single exhaust and no cutouts in the bumper, it dumps out the passenger side behind the tire.

According to the carfax for that truck, it was in a crash. It could have been debadged for repaint. If you know what a hemi engine looks like, the fender badge doesn't need to be there.

I think that year, the 4.7 was flex fuel capable and had a "flex fuel" badge on the tailgate. Of course, that's the first thing that comes off when de-badging.

Default Researched the hemi badge issue

First off thank you to all who replied to my concerns. I have one heck of an insurance agent who helped dig into this as well. It is in fact a 5.7 hemi that was debadged as it had a reapray from flame red to maroon. The accident it was in was minor damage to the front fender aitbags did not deploy and they do so a 7 miles per hour in front end collisions. The rear bumper was changed in prep for duals but not done. I had a picture of the vin sent to me on this actual truck and all matches up. I knew you gents would know the scoop and have eased my mind. I will be in the ram club come Saturday! The badge doesnt bug me too much being gone makes a nice sleeper truck!

that is exactly how this one is. The previous owner changed the rear bumper to prep for duals but never did..makes it easier for me!
