I ordered a replacement fuel pressure sensor and the connect to the fuel rail is too large. Would it be possible to take the old one and new part to a garage and have them swap out the connectors? They are a harder plastic style line .

 

Don't do that. Get the right sensor. Fuel leaks are not fun.
