Ok so I’m new here. Fist I have a Dodge Ram 2002 5.9l 4x4 automatic. This code has been on my truck for about 4 months now. I have not had any issues with it shifting starting or mpg drops or anything that would make me think something was wrong. I do have aftermarket parts on the truck suck as aftermarket shortboddy headers aftermarket distributer and a couple of other things. I need some help in finding out what the actual issue is seeing how I don’t want to jump straight to replacing the PCM if that’s not the issue.

 

That IS the issue. That's a memory checksum fault, which means, some of the memory in the PCM is faulty.
