Transmission issues
Hey guys,
any help would be appreciated. I have a 2009 ram 1500 with a 4.7 engine. My overdrive does not engage. All other gears work great. There is no slippage and all other gears shift strong. I was told that the overdrive is electronically activated. And that there is a module that could be not working correctly. I have always worked on my own vehicles and know my way around pre computerized models (after 1990's). Any suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated. I hate to pay dealer repair prices.
