Default traction Control like behavor

My 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 is having an issue, with Traction control shut off, while Medium-WOT acceleration my truck is cutting out/sounding like the traction control is still on and when i let off the throttle some the truck seems to stop and pulls harder, my suspicions are that i am having an issue with the fuel pressure(punp, filter) or need a general tune up, air filter is good because it kinda sounds like it could be almost "Flooding" out, does it with 87-93 Octane fuel the truck has 146,600 miles mostly decent highway miles, especially since the last service.

Sounds a bit like a misfire. Of course that doesn't narrow it down much more than what you already suspect - general tune up (spark plugs), fuel pressure, or vacuum leak. I'm not positive on this, but if your 2011 is like most Mopars of late, there is no separate fuel filter. Instead it's incorporated in to the fuel pump module. I also expect that your 2011 uses coil on plug (CoP) so no spark plug wires.

Have you checked for any stored or pending diagnostic codes which might hint at where to concentrate your diagnostics?
