Help! Hemi tick ?? Is this of concern??? Listen to video
Both of the videos below show the ticking I’m hearing in my 2015 ram 1500 with 17k miles....it has he following mods
hemifever tune
87mm throttle body
vararam intake
mbrp exhaust
ARH long tube headers with high flow cats
pedal commander
just did a full synthetic oil change of
4qt 5w20 amsoil
3qts 5w30 redline
rp filter
i took a stethoscope and listened to valve covers... no ticking
also took it to the deaer and had had a tech informally listen to the truck and take a ride with me and said he wouldn’t be concerned ...
listened to the injectors and that’s where I hear the ticking... should I be concerned??? No CELs, no power loss that I can tell. Just the noise . Can’t hear it within the cab but can here it esp in wheel wells . Truck has a leveling kit that may make it more noticeable outside truck but still concerning as I am a bit neurotic with noises I can’t explain . Any advice or insight would be much appreciated.

thanks for the reply . It eases my mind a little . I have a hard time finding a similarly modded truck so I’m forced to go by the knowledge or opinion of others lol
Sounds normal to me and I have 3 HEMI-engined Mopars. I think you may be hearing it a bit more because the tick sound of the injectors can resonate through that cavernous engine bay. You also lifted/leveled the front so now the sound can escape and just seems loud. The best way to cover that up is with an angry sounding exhaust.
