i can not tell when the mds goes from 8 to 4 cylinders. when the eco light goes on and off does it mea that mds is working? when the light goes on is it on 4 cylinders? when i use the +,- on the steer wheel, i can go up to 8, is this a 6 speed 6 speed transmission?,

 

ECO light means mds is working and you're running on four cylinders. If you listen carefully, you can hear the exhaust note drop an octave when the mds is active.

If you can shift up to 8 it looks like you have an 8 speed transmission.
