Default 2014 Rust Bubbles

Anyone else experiencing this issue on a 2014 Ram? New to the site and have been reading past posts about rust issues. I recently noticed rust bubbles on both rear upper quarter panels about the size of a dime. I'm also noticing rust on the front chrome bumpers. I am meticulous and take great care of all my vehicles and am pretty disappointed, because I love this truck (5.7L Crew Big Horn). I have an appointment at the dealership next week and they will take pictures and send it to Chrysler. I'll let you know where I get, but i'm not confident i'll get anywhere. Hard to believe a truck that is 3yrs old already having these types of issues. Other than this, the truck has been rock solid all around.

Great news!!! They sent the pics in an will be replacing the right panel altogether. The left is not nearly as bad, so told to monitor it and come back when it's time. I really didn't think I would get this replaced, but feel like this is a big win!!! Thanks Dodge Service!!!!

Update: Got the truck back today and it looks amazing. Right panel replaced and the Dodge body shop did a really great job. Process took a week and a half, but worth it. On top of it, they washed the truck, put armor all on the wheels and did a complete detailing on the inside. I was not expecting that at all and
was a great surprise. Thank you Dodge Service for the excellent customer service!

Well, I washed the truck today and something caught my eye! After looking a little closer..............Wow!! Three decent rust bubbles formed on the front oh my hood. Back to the dealership folks! Since I just had the rear quarter panel replaced recently, and these are similar size bubbles, I am hopeful I will get this replaced as well. Just painful to have to deal with this. I'll let you know where I get.

I didn't realize it's aluminum. I called the dealership and take it back in this week for pictures to be sent. But yes, there are bubbles in the paint on the front lip.

Aluminum does corrode. I have worked on antique aircraft and many panels were pitted and corroded beyond repair. We used a special aluminum coating that etched and protected the surface prior to painting.

At this point, it will not be a hood replacement, but repair. That could change once they start repairing, but I am thankful they are doing something.

The hood repair is in three weeks, however, the bad news keeps on a coming. I noticed what looked like water droplets in the middle of the front left quarter panel. Nope!!!! More freaking rust bubbles and a cluster of them. I'm thinking I am going to ask to have the hood be replaced and not repaired as well as the front quarter panel. This is getting ridiculous. At this rate, I could have whole new outside in the next year.
