Default 2018 RAM 2500 4x4 wind noise

2018 RAM 2500 4x4 8' bed Longhorn edition.
I paid a lot of money for my new truck. I expected the cab to be a lot quieter.
I have a lot of wind noise, anyone else?

Warranty actually covers that. IF it's a bad seal, or mis-adjusted door, or something similar. Take one of the service writers for a ride, show him what you got, take it from there.

Use your warranty. That’s what it’s for.

Hi polymolybadchit,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit a certified dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just send us a PM with your VIN and let me know.

Did you ever get this fixed? If so what did they do. I am having the same issue with my 2018 2500 and the dealership is telling me there is noting wrong with it that it is normal. I am with you a 70,000 dollar truck should not have very loud wind noise.

Hey Joe,
I haven't yet been to my dealership since I purchased my 2018. (I've only put @2500 miles on the beast) I was planning on bundling my first service, the recall notice I received and the wind noise on that visit.
I'm sure they will tell me the same that they told you. I will let you know what they say then.
Did you see the reply from Dodge Social Care Specialist on my original post? I never followed up with them to see who or what they are.
Anyway If you have any success let me know too.

joeman just as i expected, i took the dealership service writer on a road trip and let him experience. he stated that the wind noise seemed excessive. the service tech took a look (all day) said there was nothing they could do.
have you done anything yet? give me a reply if you make any progress.

i started a science project on my own trying to isolate where the noise might be coming from. i just taped up all the openings on the mirrors but its raining and i haven't had a chance to drive and see if it made a difference. my plan is to keep adding tape until it stops?????
let me know what you are doing to solve.......thanks!

A common problem is the mirrors and the front windshield. Both have been known to cause excessive wind noise
