Default 37x13.5 -44 offset w/ 6" lift and rub

Anyone running 37s with a -44 offset on a 1500? I've still got a bit of rub when parking, and am wondering if a 2" level will cut it or if I need to add a 3" BL? I wouldn't mind the BL, but I don't want to install it myself and everyone is quoting around $1500 for the kit installed, and that just seems a little steep to me (is it?). Plus then I've got to fab up the hitch mount so I don't have a huge gap. Any insight is appreciated!
