Default Backup in mirror too small for hitching

2016 Ram 2500 6.4L Tradesman

Tossing around ideas but don't want to drop a ton of money.

I have several options...Buy a cheap backup camera system and store the monitor in the corner sole.

Spend a couple hundred bucks on a cheap double din stereo/monitor and backup camera.

Buy the IBall for $175 and stow it until needed for hitching.

I would love to just pull the wires out of the mirror a d they magically plug and play into a aftermarket stereo.

Why in the world would they put a cheap stereo like this in a $45k truck...and no Bluetooth ??

Spot mirrors and learn how to back up with them. $3.00. Done.

Spot mirrors on tow mirrors?

Sounds easy, but your solution isnt what I'm looking for.

I generally get within a couple inches on first try but always ends up with hopping in and out of the truck 2-3 times...or more.

If you need a backup camera to hitch up a trailer then maybe consider the type that replaces your rearview mirror. They are pretty cheap and you don't have the additional monitor piece or need to replace the stereo.
