What is the year and model of the Ram you are working on? Also, which engine does it have and what is the particular diagnostic code that is being set?
Keep in mind that diagnostic codes only report what sensors/systems are out of range and hence there are often more than one code related to a sensor/system. Rarely will a diagnostic code be so detailed that it states exactly what part to replace. That's why they are called "diagnostic" codes. Usually some diagnostics are required.
