Service Park Assist & Traction Control self-disabled
I have a 2011 RAM Laramie, 5.7L, Crew Cab, 4x2 with 111,000 miles.
Last week my truck started going 'insane'! It:
1. Dies / Stalls at highway speeds. (indication is the Throttle Body Control warning light)
- Moving TIPM around usually made it stable enough to drive as long as I stayed below 40 mph.
2. Then I got 'Service Park Assist' message.
3. Then the 'Traction Control' disabled itself and won't reset even with programmer.
4. No DTC's until last night, now I have U1110 & U1120 (CAN bus)
Moving the TIPM around up until last night temporarily fixed the issues, then moving it would just change the problems and now the problems are steady. Vehicle still starts and runs okay, can't drive over 40 or it will stall / die.
To me all indications point to a defective TIPM, however I'd like some opinions about this. Am I barking up the right tree or heading down a rabbit hole? If it's not the TIPM, then where should I be looking?
Thanks for any feedback / help with this.
