Default Service Brake Sensor

I have a 2015 Ram 1500
Three times now this has happened.
1. I'm driving along around 25mph on a dirt road the back tire hit a pot hole. The truck flashes service brake sensor and immediately brakes the truck to a stop. It won't go forward. If I turn off the truck, it starts up and will drive but the check engine light comes on.
2. I'm driving on a dirt road and it has the washboard bumps. The truck comes to a stop and won't move. Turn off the truck, it will move but the check engine light is on.
3 Im driving 8 miles an hour in a road stop rest area. The back tire went in a very small pot hole. The truck stops. ... you get the drill.
After turning the truck on and off the check engine light turns off.

What is the code from the check engine light? Even if it turns off, a code is still stored. That is the first clue on the trail of troubleshooting. Get the code read.

How do I read a code? I just bought the truck a month ago. I'm just an old lady.

Take it to an auto parts store. They will read the code(s) for you.
