Default P0463 2014 Ram 1500

So I am getting the P0463 check engine light now but mine is different than most I see on the forum. My gas gauge works fine, I do not go into ECO mode while the light is on. Truck is at 72K miles and this started a couple weeks ago. I deleted the code and it stayed away for a week then came back on. I have tried the Chevron Techron cleaning solution which didn't work. The light will go off randomly then pop back on a day later here and there. I am not sure what to try before spending the money on a new fuel pump, not a big deal if that solves it but rather not spend the time or money if that is not the solution. Anyone have any solutions or experienced similar issues?

Did you check the freeze frame data from when the code was set? You might start monitoring that to see if there is a trend and that the data in the freeze frame seems valid (versus saying your engine was at -50 degrees or your vehicle speed was 256 mph, etc.). Per the service manual information, the code will be set after the first trip fault, but requires three good trips before it will extinguish the Check Engine Light.
