Spark plugs..

Never seen this before, all 16 plug came out like this. Completly dry no carbon oil or anything but ruted ??? Any idea

What brand and grade of fuel do you typically use? Do you frequently add something to your fuel (such as Chevron, STP, etc.)? If the wear on all 16 looks like the one in the photo above, it doesn't look bad and is most likely due to the fuel or an additive.

All 16 where exactly the same, I use Shell V-power 91 oct. I have used royal purple fuel additive cleaner last september 2 tanks in a row, but nothing else before or after.

Since all 16 look the same, you don't mention the truck running abnormally, and the plugs don't show signs of running rich or burning oil, I would write it off as being due to something in the fuel (either Shell's additives or the Royal Purple).

You might do a Google search to see if anyone else running the Shell or the Royal Purple have noted the same plug appearance.

It ran good, but the reason i did a tune up, is because it was pingning when ever i acceled fast like going up hill, or pulling ect.
