Question Hi there! New RAM owner and forum member with two strange problems.

I just purchased a 2017 RAM Laramie 1500 with 20k miles. I have noticed two issues with it:

1. In the passenger-side projector headlamp assembly there are what look to be three small amber LED lights that makeup the side parking/marker light. I noticed that they were out (that is until I hit it with the palm of my hand). If I hit it again they would go out. Is there some sort of short you think somewhere? Can I try to fix this myself (I hate going to my local dealer)?

2. I have noticed that the Cruise Control On/Off switch on the steering wheel will not work sometimes. Like I will press it and nothing happens. Other times after starting-up the truck it works fine.

Any ideas on these two issues I am experiencing? Thanks in advance all!!

Hello RamHemiV8,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble. Just to chime in, if you do decide to have the dealership take a look, please let us know. We'd be glad to get that process started on your behalf.

As Jasmine says, I'd use your warranty and make them fix whatever you think is a problem.
