Question 2009 dodge Ram 1500 wont crank

Sunday morning, I got it my 2009 dodge Ram 1500 and the truck started. It ran for about 2 seconds, maybe, and then shut off. It did the same thing one more time and the third there was nothing. Once in a while it will crank start and stop but mostly nothing happens. When it did start it ran very rough. My wife said that she got it started for about ten minutes but she had to keep pumping the gas to keep it running. When I turn the key, I can hear the relay in the fuse box clicking but nothing gets to the starter. I jumped the starter and its works fine. I'm at a loss.

What does your volt gauge have to say? Should be 12 volt or better. If it is, swap the starter relay with another one, and see if anything changes.

The battery was just above 12 volts. The gauge has always shown that it was charging, when it ran.
