Default Led canibus antiflicker

first time Member First Time first time Member First Time Post.. can anyone help me? I just bought a 2018 Ram 1500 and I would like to buy aftermarket Leds. I keep coming across I need a anti flicker canibus... can anybody suggest are good canvas anti flicker for my truck.? Thank you.

Which bulbs do you want to replace with LED's? That information would be helpful.

Yep, you'll need the anti-flicker box with the LED bulbs. I converted my 2014 Ram 1500 Laramie Limited high and low beams to LED and without you'll get a constant warning while the lights are on that the bulbs are out. The anti-flicker is not directly related to CAN bus as far as I know, but often is contained wtihin the same module.

I'm not sure if the 2018 uses LEDs for all the turn signal and side marker lights. If not and you opt to upgrade any of those to LED, you'll need ones that are either compatible with CAN or you'll need to add load resistors to keep the bulb out indicator system happy.
